Searching for Student Records

Any student record can be found in the EMP system by performing a search. This can be done at any time, on any page by using the search bar located on the right side of the navigation panel.

To search for a student record, simply type any of the following information to search:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Address Line 1
  • City
  • Zip
  • Email
  • Primary Phone

Once done, either click on the magnifying glass or hit enter on the keyboard.

This will bring up the color-coded results of the search. The search utility will search the EMP database for any occurrences of the search terms entered and sort them. The records with the most matches will be sorted on top. Each occurrence of the different search terms found will be highlighted for easier viewing.

Once the desired student record(s) is found, you can view that record by clicking on the icon on the far right side of the student record listing. This will open a browser tab or window in the background and load the corresponding student record page.

By default, inactive records are not included in search results. To include inactive records, simply click the ‘Toggle inactive records’ button on the top right corner of the search results page.
