Voice messaging is an outreach method that is available in all outreach campaigns. Voice blasts can be created using text-to-speech or be recorded from within the EMP.

Just as creating a new print piece or email, click 'Add Media' and choose 'Voice Message'

A voice message item will be displayed. You will want to change some settings before it will be ready to be sent.

By clicking on the 'Edit Details' button the following window will pop up.

You will see the following details.

• Name: The name of the particular voice message, unknown to recipient
• Delivery Phone: This is which field contains the phone number to be used
• Group: Which, if any group is attached to this particular message

If you click the 'Edit Content' button, you will be taken to this screen.

You have the option here to either have your typed text converted to audio or make a voice recording.

This is where you will enter the text that you want to be read with text-to-speech. To make your message more custom, you can use the variables available on the right hand side. It's recommended that your message not be too long, and for best results identify the school you are calling from immediately.

Here you have the option to have your message read in either a male or female voice.

Click on the 'Listen to my message' button to hear what your message will sound like, using text-to-speech.

By clicking on the 'Test' button, the following window will pop up.

From here you can choose which users you'd like to send a test to.
