Asset Type Dependencies
Asset type dependencies allows you to specify the sequence assets are displayed. Specifically, which assets should be shown based on other assets. For example, if a student chooses the "New York Campus" for the "Campus" field, the choices for the "Major" field will be limited to show only those offered at the New York Campus.
Adding a new dependency

To add a new dependency, click the ‘+’ button to the right of any existing dependency. If configuring the first dependency, then there will already be a blank dependency for use.

Show/Hide dependencies

Click on the Show/Hide Icon to toggle displaying/hiding the dependencies for that particular asset
Deleting a dependency

A dependency can be deleted at any time by clicking the trash bin icon.
Once a new dependency is created, the dependant assets need to be configured. The left side dropdown assets will be dependent on the right side dropdown assets. In the screenshot to the right, Major is dependent on Campus. After setting the asset types, click the ‘Manage dependency values’ to load all of the possible values for the right side dropdown.
Each of the dropdown items underneath these items represent the available choices if the right side asset is chosen.
In the example above, if ‘Art’ is chosen, then the Minor field will only have Alchemy and Armorsmithing as available choices.
If no assets are configured for a top level dependency, then the second dependent field will not show. For example, if there was a Campus choice of ‘New Jersey Campus’, but not majors assigned to it then Major would not show.
To add additional assets to a dependancy, click the ‘+’ icon. Clicking the trash bin icon will delete the bottom most dependancy value.
Once done adding dependencies, make sure to click ‘Save’ at the bottom of the page.
