Users

At the bottom right side of the EMP Dashboard is the access point to the user pages. Every user that is in the EMP system will appear here, regardless if they have a photo. If a user does not have a photo, it will display a temporary placeholder until a photo is uploaded. Each icon is a link to the respective user’s page.
Accessing User Pages
The user page contains most of the features related to EMP users. At the top of every user page is their current photo and information. These items are also displayed on student facing portions of the system as well, so make sure the information and photo are professional and accurate.
User Audit Trail
The User Audit Trail is a complete history of most actions the user has taken within the system. The Audit Trail is located on the User Page underneath the text What is ‘Bob Smith’ doing? Each line of the table is a different action taken by the user. The items underneath the Title column are links that will direct you to the relevant item. For instance clicking on a ‘Created a note’ audit type, it will bring up the note in question for viewing. An ‘Updated Record’ will link directly to the record that was updated. The Message column content varies depending on the type of audit. The When column is the date and time the action took place. At the bottom right of the table is a pagination tool, allowing you to move backwards through the users history. The audits are sorted by time of occurrence, with the most recent at the top. When a user publishes or unpublishes an asset, an audit will be created and can be seen here.

User To-Do's and Notes
All of the user’s to-dos and notes are listed in two columns at the bottom of the user page. From here there are several features that a user can use to sort and organize their notes. When a note or To do is created, it is Assigned to a user(rep) regarding a particular student. Upon creating these identical listings will show up on that corresponding student as well.
Add a new To Do

Click on the 'Add a To-do' button to create a new To-do.
Filter by Date

Underneath the Due Date section, you will find links such as 'Today', 'Tomorrow' and so on. By selecting one of the other selections like ‘Today’ will show to-dos whose due dates fall within the selected timeframe, by default 'Anytime' is displayed.
Filter by Label

Underneath the Labels section, you will find links of the available labels created. Since both to-dos and notes can have labels, this tool will filter and show any to-dos or notes that have the selected label.
Manage Labels

To the right of each To-do or Note, there is a tag icon. Clicking on this will bring up a pop up menu of existing labels.
Status of To Dos

Below labels for To-dos, there is a list of complete or incomplete items. If you click on either of these, your view will be filtered to display only listings of that type. You can click on the completed checkbox to annotate that an item is complete.
Add a Note

Click on the 'Add a Note' button to create a new Note.
Archived Status

By clicking this checkbox, this Note will be marked as archived, for filtering status.

By clicking on either one of these, your view will filter out those Notes that are, or are not archived.
To-do Student Cycler
This will cycle through all of your currently selected to-dos by showing the user the relevant student record pages for easy completion of the to-do. This button will only appear when you have to-dos related to students due today.
