Event Registration Management
There are several methods to navigate to the registration management page of events including the Upcoming Events links from the Homepage and ‘Who else is signed up?’ link found on the student record page or from the activity feed. The most common way to navigate the event registrations page is by clicking the desired date on the Calendar page, then clicking the ‘View Signups’ link.
Event Date Registration Page
This page is used to manage all registrations for the specified event date. It is also used to mark registrants as ‘Attended’. Marking registrants as Attended is a critical element of using the Event system. If registrants are not marked as ‘Attended’ several parts of the EMP will not function correctly including: Groups, Communications, and Reporting. To mark a registrant as Attended, click the checkbox under the Attended column for the desired registrant. Being marked as attending an event will enable certain features such as event thank you emails, inclusion in certain groups and inclusion in reporting. If using Events, it is strongly recommended to use this feature.
The event registrations page also allows for the modification of a student’s registration details. Clicking the pencil icon will open a dialog window to modify any of the selected student’s registration information. To delete a registration, click the trash icon. By default, all current registrants, for all timeslots, for the date being displayed are shown here. It is possible to filter registrants by the students last name by clicking the desired letter range button above the registrations listing.
If the event series has more than one date with registrations, it is possible to view every other date with registrants as well by clicking the blue ‘View Registrants for All Dates’ button in the top right hand corner. This page lists all dates with registrants. Clicking the ‘Show time slots’ button in the top right hand corner will breakdown each days’ timeslots (if there are timeslots). Clicking the blue date links will load the registrants for that date.
